Times are hard
Energy costs are spiralling. Inflation is rising. Many things are getting more and more expensive. The only thing that is not going up is my income. I am having to make cuts. In order to stay afloat, financially, I am having to cut back on spending. I say this because over the past few months I have purchased tickets to go to music events. That is no longer possible. I did what I could to support our local music scene, when it was possible to do so. Purchasing tickets for gigs is not something I can do, any more. I owe people an explanation. I am happy to write about artists, bands and concerts. I do not get paid to do this. But I cannot afford to pay for the privilege of doing it by buying a ticket to get into the venue. Those times have gone.
